Motivation

The service of Police Officers in Schools in Spain is increasing its presence in municipalities year by year, as is the growing interest of town councils in implementing this police service.
There are also different administrations that have an important role in the creation and implementation of this local Police programme. It is for this reason that the Spanish Government through the National Drug Plan, the Government of the Balearic Islands and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces have come together to celebrate this first international congress of Police Officers in Schools in order to broaden the dissemination of this police service, which is obtaining very positive results in the prevention of risk situations involving minors.
